EHX Small Stone Nano
Electro-Harmonix started coming out with Nano series pedals in the mid-00’s, one of which being the EHX Small Stone Nano.
If you’re looking for mods on the vintage “big box” style Small Stone, please click here.
Morph Mod
By far the most interesting modification I’ve done on the Small Stone Nano is the Morph Mod. This mod involves installing a sub-mini toggle switch to the right side of the enclosure. The 3-position controls the shape of the LFO waveform, allowing for three interstellar modes of operation.
The first position changes the waveshape to ramp-up and the third position changes the waveshape to ramp-down. The middle position is the “stock” waveshape. A bi-color LED indicates which waveshape the Morph Mod is set to.
Blend Mod
The Small Stone gives lucious phaser goodness, but the lack of a dry blend leaves it too strong at times – especially with Color mode engaged. Consider the Blend Mod!
Stompbox Electronics has developed a blend circuit that can be installed into the Small Stone, allowing you to blend between dry and wet signals. So, using a simple knob installed at the right-side of the pedal, you will be able to go from 100% dry (fully counter-clockwise) to 100% wet (fully clockwise).
