Stompbox Electronics Repairs Terms & Conditions
If the client is shipping a device in for an estimate, the client is responsible for the associated shipping costs to send and return the device.
If the client has agreed to a repair service in the form of written consent, be it by means of e-mail, SMS, internet messaging, or written notice, the client’s device will be repaired. It is the policy of Stompbox Electronics to return the repaired device within seven (7) days after the payment is issued. If seven (7) days have passed after payment is issued, and you still have not been notified on the shipment of your device, please contact Stompbox Electronics directly at stompboxelectronics@gmail.com.
The moment a device is received for an estimate, a repair code (“R21-” number) is manually generated. If consent has been given to repair the device, then the repair code will be printed onto the invoice at the repair’s completion. It is the responsibility of the client to keep this number for their records, as it is the only way for Stompbox Electronics to look up details regarding their order after the device is sent back to the client.
Upon completion of client’s repair, it is the policy of Stompbox Electronics to contact the client for payment. If payment is withheld, the device will be kept by Stompbox Electronics until payment is issued. Stompbox Electronics will send the client payment reminders at thirty (30) day intervals until ninety (90) days is reached. If payment is not issued within ninety (90) days of first notifying the client that the repair is complete, the device will be resold as per NY State Lien Law, Article 8, Section 180 & NY State Lien Law, Article 9, Section 200.
Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the client to check with Mimmotronics Effects on the completion of their repair. Excuses like “I don’t check my voicemail!” and “Your email went to spam!” are not acceptable excuses to get out of the 90 day rule. Stompbox Electronics Modification Services Terms & Conditions
Upon receipt of payment towards Stompbox Electronics Modifications Service it is the policy of Stompbox Electronics to provide shipping instructions to the client.
It is the client’s responsibility to ship the device, with respect to such shipping instructions.
It is encouraged to notify Stompbox Electronics of shipment within 30 days of receiving shipping information from Stompbox Electronics. The payment for modification will be held unless a refund is requested. If no notification of shipment is received within seven (7) days from sending the shipping information, it is policy of Stompbox Electronics to remind the client of their purchase once every 30 days.
By purchasing Stompbox Electronics Modification Services the client is acknowledging that modifying a device while it is under warranty will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
Modifying a device does not equate to a means of repairing the device. If a device is sent in to be modified and it arrives in need of repair, then it is the policy of Stompbox Electronics to contact the client and offer Stompbox Electronics Repair Services, either in addition to, or in place of, the original Modification Services request. If the client has determined, in this situation, that Stompbox Electronics Repair Services is not wanted, then the device is to be sent back to the client. The client is responsible for the return shipping costs. If the payment was made online, then a reimbursement of that payment will be issued, less the cost of shipping.
