Caroline Guitar Co. Météore Modifications
The Caroline Guitar Co. Météore is a Belton Brick-based reverb pedal released in 2017. It is named after line 14 of the Paris Metro, from which inspired it’s sonic design. There have been multiple makeovers to the expterior of the pedal, but as far as I know the innards are the same for all versions. Because of this, the modifications provided here apply to all versions.

Pre-Delay Mod
The Météore’s reverb is beautifully designed around a Belton Brick, which has a minimum pre-delay. Many online have touted the minimum, non-adjustable pre-delay as a disappointment. In my opinion, the pre-delay is a part of the Météore’s personality. As such, it’s meant to be used in maximally creative and experimental ways. I decided to allow the Météore it’s right to express itself by conceiving the Pre-Delay Mod.
The Pre-Delay Mod adds a PT2399 delay circuit just before the reverb tank. A knob is installed which adjusts the delay time of the signal before it arrives to the reverb tank, effectively adjusting the amount of pre-delay. An enable/disable toggle switch is added, in case you want to switch between “stock” mode or “pre-delay” mode.
